TBFYND
Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly contagious air-borne infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Every year more than 10 million cases are reported globally. In India, about 19 lakh cases and about 40000 deaths were reported in 2023. Therefore, early identification of TB is crucial for controlling the spread of the disease.
TBFYND is a rapid, reliable, ready-to-use point-of-care testing kit for TB detection. It is based on Loop mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP), which does not require any high-end equipment or any extensive lab setup and the test can be performed anywhere. TBFYND is a simple colorimetric assay with 97.63% accuracy, 98.73% sensitivity, and 100% specificity, approved by CDSCO.
Our Mission
Decentralize TB diagnosis
Our mission is to bring advanced, accurate and affordable TB testing to areas that need it most, ensuring early detection and control of TB in communities that are often underserved. TBFYND empowers governments and healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely diagnoses, driving forward the fight against TB.
